Thankful for liberty. Thankful for my ancestors (one minuteman in particular) who believed in it and fought to build a country founded on it.
I had a great time at the annual Danvillian 4th of july parade with family and friends. The oh so quaint Hartz ave was packed with red white and blue people. We screamed for free hand outs (I live off of those easy dispenser Band-Aids all year) , we melted in the heat, we ate divine apple pie, and we sat right under the fireworks.
Yesterday we kept the party going with a barbeque, swim, and baseball extravaganza at Phil's home-base. Homemade strawberry ice cream and me actually hitting the baseball were highlights of the evening.
I slept like a rock last night.
It was a grand old high flying weekend.

We tried to find you guys at the parade but we were late and it was too hard to navigate through the crowd!! Sorry we missed you.
Yep, great holiday. You weren't half bad at baseball and we all enjoyed how worried all you O'C girls were!
