COLOR.

It's spring (almost summer weee!)
and I've been thinking about color...

Chubby  blushing flowers
Fresh red sunburns
Juicy peaches
Green blades of grass
Waxy purple cherries
Huge blue skies
electric white hot stars

and all of this for our eyes' enjoyment

Aren't we a lucky bunch?

A peek in my brain. Day 32.

32 days until the wedding. Phil could tell you days hours and minutes with a quick click on his cell phone... not that we're counting. We've been diligent about planning ahead and as this final month approaches there's really not much left, just loose ends and projects (KNOCK ON WOOD!). Most of the wedding boxes have neat little checks in them. Of course I'm always waiting for the other shoe to drop... actually I still need shoes. I'm going with a simple ballet flat. classic and comfortable and... flat... I like to be at my shortest around PG to really maximize the 5 inch height difference.

I think I'm starting to get wedding jitters too! In my case the symptoms are near narcoleptic sleeping habits and an excited tummy... yup. I told Phil I was starting to get nervy and he was so sweet and calm. He is my beloved sedative.... well... save when he teases me or drives me up a wall for his own entertainment in the most endearing and rascal-ful way.

I have my trial run hair ap. on Saturday and I CAN'T wait to get glamorized.

Next week is my (last?) dress fitting. Maybe second to last. Excited to see my dress which I still think I should name...

Yesterday Tara  Courtney and I heralded in a new swim season at Castlewood and lay out like vegetables in the summer breeze (wearing spf 30 because I am morally against wrinkles).

Last night was the premiere of Jon and Kate plus 8 where I witnessed the family totally derailed... read this post about it.

PG and I are busy worker bees doing anything and everything this summer. Anyone need a slave? call us.

I've been having serious baked goods cravings... a hunger that was only momentarily satiated by my Mom's homemade apple pie... which by the way tastes very much like the afterlife if you're good.

Bought some more swimsuits for the honeymoon! Randi got me started with an adorable nautical bikini.

Re-watching the brilliant TV series Arrested Development with PG. Is the movie really happening people?

Went to Cesar in Berkeley (yummy tapas place) avec Lizz. It's home to the Mint Shirley Temples I am head over heels for. They didn't have our shirleys that eve BUT they did have potatoes wrapped in garlic and bacon... I died.

and finally... LOVING 8 minute abs on youtube. It actually works in all of its 80's glory!

ollie ollie oxen free!

I haven't been hiding BUT I have been an incredibly busy bee.  Every minute I'm not working (and those are some small minutes) I've been, as a friend put it, "frolicking around the beautiful California landscape with family and friends." Summer is turning out to be jam packed and of course Phil is an incredible computer-distraction, Hence my bloglessness. Today I took a half day off... and crashed. I took a delicious 3 hour cat nap and feel like I could still crawl right back in my little bed and fall deep deep into dreamland. Aren't naps the best?

As for my adventures, here's a look back at the last few weeks. There have been plays, and dance shows, and warm summer hikes...birthdays, zoo trips, and too little sleep! Oh ya... and we're getting married in 44 days! The excitement cannot be expressed in words. Instead I do a lot of dancing when I think about it...PG rolls his eyes:)
