The post is random, so be the picture. I call it "function without form."
past.
Phil had hand surgery. You may call him Frankenfinger. He has a really tough looking "S" shaped scar now. His ring will need to be resized, oy.
I got sick-major-mondo-sick for two whole weeks. I am now a total hypochondriac hand washing fool. I don't like working sick. I do like prescribing myself bath time.
Between Phil Phinger and Aubrey Sicky, we escaped the apt. for one Jim visit, one festival of colors, and a few sunny day walks around the neighborhood.
We went home for a whirlwind easter weekend. It was diabetes-worthy. Mmmm processed sugar and family time. We saw nephews and niece rock the stage in Damn Yankees. My momma made the best lemon cake EVER. We love Danville, it's green and pretty and eden-like.
present.
The weather is gor-ge-ous. I could eat it all up all day long. I never want to be inside again.
Phil is bracing himself to write 5 (I think?) history papers this week. EE-GADS I don't know how he does it. He is our resident hard worker and smarty pants.
I am loving nannying the three darling girls that belong to my boss at the ole' physical therapy office. In other news, I know far too much about medical insurance and love chatting with patients whilst I tend to their needs. I could write a book "The Secret Lives of Patients" but I think that's a HIPPA violation.
Phil is working too. He is being a great provider. I love him.
We are both exhausted zombies by the end of the work day.
I went to yoga at our gym: a. I was impressed by the intensity of the class b. I was impressed by my own out-of-shapery c. I am a re-addicted little yogi and plan on sun saluting the summer away.
We hiked the Y this afternoon and it was exhilarating. We also bought P.G. a special graduation shirt and got him an incredible graduation haircut. He is handsome. I snuck away to buy his Grad present and I want to explode with excitement about it.
future.
We have just two more weeks in UT before we pack up Grapes of Wrath style and U-haul it back to the golden state.
Olivia (my freshman roommate at Carnegie Mellon and one of my dearest Mellons at that) is coming to visit UTAH. We are terrors together. It will be legendary.
We wait with bated breath for Law School letters.
Phil graduates April 22nd and 23rd. He has really put his nose to the grindstone and I'm a proud wifey. There will be many a cap and gown picture.
