CAMO Commotion

Bride-to-be: At times your groom might try his hand at wedding planning. Be supportive and considerate and try to keep compromise and love at the heart of all decisions.

My groom doesn't try his hand at planning. He sweetly abdicates all decorative decisions to moi. He does on the other hand do his best to send me into fits of laughter and occasionally pull my leg with emails like this...

"We're a package deal, the cake and I. Hope you like it."

Followed by this...

We called this the blood dripping camo cake. Followed by "Ducks in Love." Please note the guest's attire. Casual smart? Swamp-folk formal?

He wants the dog-tags to say "Phil"

The Coup de gras. My girl-deer horns look like devil horns.

At this rate I should ditch the dress for overalls and mud boots. Phil was kind to point out camouflage matches any color palette because it BLENDS.
Good thing he's so darn cute. I can handle his rascally ways.

These beauties are out there somewhere. Someone's newly married belly was filled with these brown and green confections. Someone may even have that deer head cake topper wrapped neatly away for posterity. I guess everyone can have their cake and eat it too!

You should add "swamp-folk formal" to your invitations and then at your reception we could do some mud wrestling and trap shooting. Nothing dresses up a wedding gown like mud splotches and a shotgun.

Oh he's so controlling trying to pick the cake too. Greenbombs could do an awesome swamp formal!

Okay, first of all-girl deer do not have antlers. It concerns me that there are two boy deer on top of that cake. Awkward. Also, my husband would have done the same thing, had I let him...You have to take control early. Otherwise, you will be getting married in the back of a pickup truck and riding away in your overalls and dirty tshirt on a four wheeler. Good luck! :-)
